Supervisor of Nursing Behavioral Health – Astoria, NY Location: Astoria, NY (Onsite) Position Type: Full Time – Monday to Friday with weekend as needed. Pay Range: $74,000–$110,000 per year. Responsibilities Oversee nursing practices and staff in a healthcare setting. Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure quality patient care. Develop and implement nursing care plans, policies, and procedures. Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and state licensing requirements. Requirements Demonstrated leadership and management skills. Ability to provide physical and psychological support to patients. Proficient in developing and implementing nursing care plans. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time‑management abilities. Proficient in using general office software. Availability to be on call 7 days per week as needed. Qualifications BSN required; Master’s degree preferred. Valid NYS RN license. Active NPI Number. Medicaid/Medicare Number preferred. Experience in counseling and teaching preferred.
