• Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

• Shift: Days

• Pay: $19.10 - $24.83 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This is a REMOTE position. MUST reside in the state of Colorado.

Summary:

Verifies and facilitates the completion of medical records and maintains the deficiency system.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with clinical staff and assists with various documentation requirements, within established deadlines.

• Reviews medical documentation, ensuring compliance with established standards and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinates records completion activities related to deficiency tracking and suspension processes.

• Prepares reports, presentations and other documents as instructed.

• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED. Preferred: Associate's degree, training in Medical Terminology and Human Anatomy.

• Preferred: Certified as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)

• Preferred related experience with strong understanding of medical terminology.
