Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat short-term and long-term residents in the SNF setting.
- Deliver occupational therapy services with the supervision and assistance of COTAs; complete timely documentation and treatments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders to improve independence in ADLs, functional mobility, cognition, upper extremity function, and overall quality of life.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote safe discharge and maximize each resident’s functional potential through various treatment approaches.
Requirements
- Active Ohio Occupational Therapist license
- Ability to provide OT services in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting
- Availability for 8-hour shifts, five days per week (flexible)
- Ability to complete timely documentation and treatment plans
