Wealth & Trust Operations Manager - Sioux Falls

First Dakota is hiring a full-time Wealth & Trust Operations Manager to join our Sioux Falls team. Leads the overall coordination of daily trust and investment operations including implementing and maintaining operational controls, with a focus on transactional reviews, account and asset reconciliations, recordkeeping and tax reporting. Will also be responsible for resolution of transaction and custody exceptions and performing complex inquiries and research.

Duties

• Manage the process of new accounts, trades and all documentation associated with the daily balancing and processing of customer accounts.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for operations.
• Process tax reporting information.
• Problem solve issues in customer accounts and resolve operational issues within the department.
• Motivate, train and direct the efforts of the employees within the operations department.
• Maintain high level of compliance in reference to the regulatory policies and practices of the Trust industry.
• Identify risks and effective strategies to reduce incoming risk.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject; and
• 5+ years’ experience in a related field
• Experience with Infovisa MAUI accounting software is a plus
• Preferred candidate will possess CTOP designation
• Experience with 1099 processing
