Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our night shift team at Envive Healthcare of Berne. As a CNA at our facility, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents, and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment throughout scheduled shifts

• Help residents with personal hygiene, feeding, and serving nutritional supplements

• Observe residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse

• Document resident food and fluid intake, and maintain accurate records

• Assist with transporting residents within the facility and performing other tasks as needed

• Collaborate with nurses and other staff members to ensure the highest level of care

• Adhere to professional standards, facility policies, and federal, state, and local requirements and standards

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current and valid CNA certification

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Effective communication skills

• Good collaboration and teamwork skills

• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities

• Keen attention to detail

• In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations

• Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for a number of medical conditions

• Physical strength and stamina

• First aid and CPR certifications
