Nurse Manager - NICU

Description Nurse Manager – NICU at Providence St Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA. This position will work Full Time, 8‑hour Day shifts. The role provides an optimal practice environment that ensures the delivery of quality patient care. Responsible for planning, directing and managing the nursing care delivered to a designated patient population on one or more nursing units. Oversees daily operation of the patient care unit with accountability for leadership, budget preparation and overall fiscal management, staffing, planning, employee relations, patient satisfaction, practice guidelines and quality standards. Role models proactive, collaborative working relationships across all hospital functions in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Develops programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patients’ nursing care needs are assessed, evaluated, and met. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nursing. California Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire. National specialty certification within 1 year of hire. 5 years of recent experience in an acute hospital setting. Computer experience. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in nursing or related field. Supervisory experience. Wage and Compensation Pay range: $74.54 – $117.65 per hour. These amounts represent the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
