Job Overview Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Colerain Care Center, Cincinnati, OH 45247 Employment Type: Part‑Time Salary: $35.00 – $39.00 per hour Shift: Any Travel: None Key Responsibilities Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient health, develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, administer medications and therapies per physician orders, and monitor patient responses for necessary adjustments. Clinical Procedures: Perform wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, respiratory treatments, and other clinical procedures per facility protocols; educate patients and families on treatments and health‑promoting habits; assist with diagnostic testing and document vital signs. Medication Administration: Safely give medications following the five rights, document administration accurately, and report adverse reactions or errors; manage complex medication regimens for chronic conditions. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain precise, thorough, and timely records in the electronic health record (EHR) and other required formats; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies; engage in quality assurance initiatives. Collaboration & Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team; serve as patient advocate, participate in care conferences and team meetings, and coordinate holistic care. Emergency Response: Provide immediate life‑saving interventions (CPR, airway management, advanced resuscitation) and assist in patient stabilization and transfer as needed. Patient Advocacy: Promote patient rights, provide emotional support, and guide families through complex health decisions. Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution. Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license. Preferred: prior experience in a health‑care, long‑term care, or acute‑care setting; new graduates also welcome. Strong clinical assessment and care plan development skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a compassionate approach. Capability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and nursing documentation. Knowledge of nursing best practices, medication safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
