Warehouse Inventory Control Full Time 2nd Shift at Staples, Inc. Position: Warehouse Inventory Control Full Time 2nd Shift – 2nd Shift (3:30 pm – 12:00 am, Monday‑Friday). Job Description As a warehouse associate you may work in one of the following two areas: Warehouse Inventory Control : Review inventory of product, reconcile inventory discrepancies, identify delivery shortages, maintain inventory records to minimize discrepancies, and operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, electric pallet jacks) while adhering to safety procedures. Warehouse Clerk : Confirm accuracy of product, address discrepancies and damages, communicate effectively with internal and external contacts to clarify and resolve issues, and operate material handling equipment under safety procedures. SC3 associates may be moved into any of these roles, or into SC1 or SC2 roles, as needed. Safety is paramount; ensure safe work practices and embrace the safety culture. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Ability to pass a drug screen. Full‑time associate may work additional hours beyond the scheduled shift; overtime as required by business need. Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more. Lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing 70–100 pounds by hand. Wear safety composite work shoes. Walk and stand 100 % of the time. Minimum age 18 years. Work at material handling equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack, etc.) – certification required. Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year of related experience in a warehouse environment, including MHE experience and inventory control. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience. Ability to work independently, perform analytical thinking, use basic math, communicate and collaborate with teams. Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
