Emergency Department Technician I Job Overview The Emergency Department Technician I reports to the Nurse Manager and works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role involves multi-skilled activities to support a decentralized, patient-centered approach to care and achieve desired outcomes. Responsibilities Assist nursing staff with patient care tasks. Support patient triage and assessment. Maintain clinical equipment and supplies. Participate in emergency response and patient stabilization. Document patient care accurately. Qualifications Completion of an EMT or Basic Nursing Assistant Program. Basic Life Support certification (AHA BLS or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers) required within 2 weeks of hire and ongoing maintenance. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Employment Details Employee type: Regular. Hourly pay. Working hours: 36 per week.
