Position Summary

This is position is responsible for activities related to the reporting capabilities of the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) Client Data Management System (iConnect). This role coordinates with program staff, vendors, and Subject Matter Experts to define requirements and develop new or updated CDMS reports. It also supports testing activities, monitors issues, and ensures clear and consistent communication across stakeholders. In addition, this position assists with special projects to meet evolving program needs and Agency priorities.

The Work You Will Do  

Develop, maintain, and periodically generate and distribute iConnect Client Data Management System reports. Liaison with APD IT, CDMS Subject Matter Experts for launching new reports or making changes to existing reports. Participate in User Acceptance Testing for new reports or changes to existing reports. Maintain and update the iConnect Report Listing tracker. Work with CDMS stakeholders to troubleshoot issues that arise with CDMS reports.

Compiles and coordinates information as needed in conjunction with the CDMS Business Operations Manager, including, but not limited to coordinating groups for User Acceptance Testing and requirements from stakeholders for new or enhanced functionality.

Works with Agency staff (stakeholders) to determine business needs that require an IT solution including, but not limited to the development of new systems and enhancements to existing systems.

Formulates and reviews documentation required to develop logical ways to meet staff and user requirements in iConnect.

Provides input in the planning, development, and future configuration releases within the iConnect system.

Works on special projects and other assignments and/or performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Knowledge of:

• SQL for querying, data extraction, and report development.

• Relational database systems and ability to optimize SQL queries for performance and accuracy.

• Microsoft applications and other required computer software applications. Knowledge and proficiency in Information Technology (Infrastructure, Development, and Operations/Support).

• Data reporting tools, dashboards, or report management systems.

• Issue‑tracking or project management tools (such as trackers, logs, or similar systems).

Ability to:

• Troubleshoot data issues, validate report outputs, and document reporting requirements and technical specifications.

Background Screening Requirement

It is the policy of the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities that applicants for employment undergo Level 2 employment screening in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, as a condition of employment or being permitted to serve as a volunteer.
