Fitness Specialist

Location: Woodleigh Chase by Erickson Senior Living Role: Fitness Specialist – teaching fitness classes and personal training. You will assess, monitor, and develop individual fitness programs for residents. Compensation: Starting at $18 per hour, commensurate with experience. Schedule: Monday – Friday, either 8:00 am – 4:30 pm or 9:00 am – 5:30 pm. How You Will Make An Impact Perform fitness assessments including vital signs. Prescribe an appropriate exercise program covering flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular training. Educate and evaluate members on proper exercise techniques. Assist with coordination and implementation of Wellness programs. Maintain a clean and safe fitness area for members. Build strong relationships with residents and staff, encouraging physical activity. What We Offer Gated community with 24/7 security. A culture of diversity and inclusion building on our values, vision, and mission. What You Will Need Associate’s degree in Health Education or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Current CPR/First Aid certifications. Experience evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus. Minimum of 1-year related work experience.
