Phlebotomist Float
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Float Phlebotomist for its Memphis, Tennessee location to perform blood collections across multiple patient service sites. The role involves venipuncture, specimen processing, patient service, and administrative duties with a flexible Monday-Friday schedule and potential Saturday rotation.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient information accurately and process billing information
- Prepare collected specimens for laboratory testing and analysis
- Travel to additional sites as needed and provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum three months phlebotomy experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass color blindness screening test
- At least 21 years old
