School-Based SLP | Apex, North Carolina

An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a vibrant K-12 setting near Apex, NC. This full-time contract role offers a collaborative environment alongside a caring and knowledgeable team. Key Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina SLP license required
• Master's degree in Communication Sciences or Speech and Language Pathology
• Newly graduated Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply-comprehensive supervision is provided
• Previous experience in schools and with K-12 caseloads is an advantage
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, interventions, and outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology

This contract position runs from late November through early June, requiring 35 hours per week. For eligible candidates, travel contracts are available-including relocation support, housing, and meal stipends.
