Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse in MedSurg to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care on a 22-bed Ortho/Tele unit, focusing on Joints/Replacements/Fractures patients.
• Collaborate effectively with Charge Nurses ensuring coverage 24/7 and support with a team of 3 CNAs per shift.
• Utilize BLS skills maintaining patient safety across ratios of 1:5-6.
• Manage care coordination with occasional floating to units 7E, 7W, 10W, and 10E as required.
• Adhere to a royal blue scrub color/dress code and participate in a 1-2 shift unit orientation.
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements and participate in the holiday rotation schedule as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with willingness to wait for the submission process.
• BLS Certification mandatory.
• Substantial recent experience in Total Joint Replacement, not limited to fractures.
• COVID vaccine required, with exemptions processed through the appropriate council.
• Ability to work weekend dayshift 7a-7:30pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system and acute care setting preferred.
