RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Orthopedic

Job Details:

• Work weekend day shifts Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 22-bed orthopedic/telemetry unit with patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Must have strong orthopedic experience, specifically Total Joint Replacement experience (not just fractures)
• Care for patients with orthopedic conditions including joints, replacements, and fractures
• BLS certification required
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Unit orientation of 1-2 shifts provided
• EPIC charting system used
• May float to other units including 7E, 7W, 10W, 10E
• Charge nurse available 24/7
• 3 CNAs per shift with CNA ratios of 1:7-8
• Telemetry monitoring available but RNs do not read strips
• No drip titration required
• Expected to work holiday rotation
• 2 shifts per 13-week contract cancellation policy
• BSN degree not required
