Job Summary:

This position's primary duties are to book and fund loan transactions, post loan payments, process loan advances, and file collateral documents.

Essential Functions:

• Reviews loan requests and disbursement instructions and uploads (or books) all loans to the platform system including
  • Adding new customers to core system as requested
  • Adding Beneficial Ownership on new entities and verifying same on renewals
  • Perform limited post closing review for necessary documents
  • Research and clear balancing exceptions
  • Book extensions, deferrals, amendments, and participation loans
• Process loan advances in accordance with bank policy and procedure
• Post payments
• File Lien Entries, UCC and EFS financing statements
• Quote Payoffs
• Review and mail ARM loan notices
• Image specific documents
• Has the ability to handle basic and routine issues/problems; refers more complex issues to senior staff
• Ability to communicate well with various levels
• Provides support for other functions or roles

Additional Functions:

• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements (Education, Experience):

• High School Diploma
• 1 - 2 year of experience in consumer and commercial lending practices with basic knowledge of loan system

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• The ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Basic knowledge/experience with computer systems; Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Strong sense of customer service.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Flexibility and ability to multi-task

Physical Requirements:

This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:

• Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
• Frequent lifting (up to 25 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Normal office environment.
