• Pay Rate: $35.00–$38.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day Shift, 3x12 Hours, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Job Summary

This is a 14-bed overflow unit for several months to accommodate ED boarder patients and will function as a med/surg tele unit. It will be a flex space inside the GI Endoscopy space, so the number of patients may increase or decrease depending on demand and boarder numbers.

LPN: May not assume assignment and act as resource in GIOF or med/surg.

RNs need to have a mandatory competency with phlebotomy as well as placing IVs as this is a required skill for any RN at this facility.

• Minimum 1 year of experience required

• Previous Charge Experience preferred

Education Requirements

• LPN License required
• BLS Certification required
• Pending License: Not accepted

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Float required — based on turn; would float to care for MS patients
• Call required — dependent on staffing needs
• Weekend coverage: Every other weekend (EOW)
• Block schedule: Will try to accommodate but not guaranteed
• RTO: Minimal RTO requested
• Scrubs: Navy blue/white
• Local candidates not accepted (must reside more than 75 miles from facility)
