At Jack Morton, the Senior Graphic Designer is a creative problem solver and visual communicator who works as part of a dynamic team of 2D and digital designers to create impactful experiences both live, virtual and integrated. Graphic Designers must have strong communication skills and be able to work conceptually with working knowledge of print and digital deliverables. Environmental design experience is a plus.ResponsibilitiesDevelop visual directions or systems and conceptual themes for existing clients, new business, and internal clients.Able to follow and adhere to internal and external client brand guidelines and direction.Create compelling and impactful visuals to support storytelling and overarching messagingWorking knowledge of print productions from small production to large scale, and digital media production and processesAble to understand project requirements and client asks as well as understand project roles and responsibilitiesCreate visually strong and client-focused presentations for proposals and project communicationsRemain current in design and industry trendsHave a strong work ethic and be able to meet deadlinesEffectively communicate ideas and collaborate with both internal and external clients and partners.Be able to estimate project timing and meet deadlines.Maintain a high-level of organized and able to prioritize, track, and deliver multiple projectsWork efficiently while maintaining and sharing working and archival files for all projects.Education and/or ExperienceCollege diploma from four-year college in Graphic Arts or related disciplineMust have 4 plus years of design experience in an agency environmentExperience in experiential marketing industry is a strong assetComputer SkillsMust have expert-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. After Effects is a plus, but not required. Must have expert-level presentation skills in PowerPoint and Google Slides as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and Outlook.Other Skills and AbilitiesAbility to translate design languages from print/presentation into digital visual designsComplete understanding of file preparation for graphic productionAbility to research illustrations, photographs, and type to plan presentation of material, product, or serviceIdentify materials and production methods for innovative graphic solutionsMust be passionate about the work and output, in addition to being part of a larger collaborative team of creatives.Experience in the event marketing or a creative solutions-based agencyThrives in an entrepreneurial and independent environment.Embodies flexibility, open-mindedness and receptivity.Open to working across a variety of verticals and being a steward of the brands we service.Exhibit the ability to multi-task, sell, and operate under severe time constraints and immovable deadlines.
