Research Associate II – Assay Development
Location: Onsite
Pay Rate: $27/hr
Duration: 2 years
Design, execute, and interpret laboratory experiments supporting assay development and Ventana projects.
Develop and execute experimental protocols with minimal supervision.
Analyze experimental data and prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses.
Troubleshoot experimental issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Maintain complete and accurate laboratory documentation in compliance with GMP, GLP, and Design Control requirements.
Contribute to process improvements and evaluation of new laboratory methods and techniques.
Train colleagues on applicable laboratory procedures and monitor work for quality compliance.
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline.
2–4 years of relevant post-college laboratory experience.
Hands-on wet-lab experience, including precision pipetting, balance operation, and stir plate use.
Experience designing and executing laboratory experiments and interpreting experimental data.
Experience with assay development or related laboratory research.
Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and Design Control documentation practices.
Experience preparing technical reports, protocols, and quantitative analyses.
Ability to troubleshoot laboratory experiments and identify corrective actions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with SAFe or Agile planning and reporting processes.
Experience in regulated diagnostic, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life-science laboratory environments.
Experience searching and evaluating scientific literature.
