Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through grade 12
• Conducting comprehensive speech-language and communication evaluations as needed
• Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintaining thorough and timely documentation to track student progress and support compliance
• Participating in relevant school meetings, such as IEP teams, to advocate for effective student supports
• Providing strategies and resources to help teachers foster inclusive classroom communication

Desired qualifications:

• Hold active Speech Language Pathologist licensure with the Florida Department of Health
• Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage diverse student needs and adjust therapeutic approaches accordingly
• Must complete fingerprinting and credentialing through AHCA Clearinghouse and obtain a JLA badge ahead of the start date

This role offers up to 35 hours per week (7-hour workdays), with options for both full-time and part-time schedules to accommodate your work-life needs. The assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027.
