Role Description: The Escrow Officer role is a full to part-time, on-site position based in Palos Heights, IL. This role involves managing real estate closings, preparing and reviewing settlement statements, and ensuring all escrow instructions and documents are accurate and complete. The Escrow Officer will coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys to facilitate smooth transactions, handle disbursements, and resolve issues that arise during the closing process. Day-to-day responsibilities include verifying title commitments, maintaining detailed records, performing notary services as needed, and providing clear, courteous communication to all parties. The role also requires adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements, while consistently delivering excellent customer service. Qualifications Experience with real estate closings and escrow processes, including preparing settlement statements and managing disbursements. Ability to perform notary services and handle related documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse clients and partners. Knowledge of residential real estate transactions and title industry practices. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple files and deadlines. Proficiency with closing and title software, standard office applications, and document management tools. Prior experience as an Escrow Officer, Title Processor, or in a related real estate or legal role is preferred. Notary Public commission in Illinois and willingness to obtain an Indiana license or previous real estate knowledge in Indiana. #J-18808-Ljbffr
