Data Center Technician

Our client in Plano, TX is seeking a Data Center Server Technician (Rack Stack) to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective teamwork abilities, which will align successfully with the organization. Job Title: Rack Stack Technician / IT Rack Build Technician (Data Center Technician) Location: Plano, TX Pay Range: $23 - $27/hr based on experience Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Job Type: Temp-to-hire What’s the Job? Install and terminate fiber optic and copper cabling. Perform rack and stack of servers, switches, and other IT equipment. Install racks, cabinets, patch panels, and power strips. Read cabling diagrams and follow detailed work instructions. Perform other duties as assigned, including site inspections, equipment staging/uncrating, network hardware installation, documentation, and maintaining a safe work area. What’s Needed? 1+ year of structured cabling or data center experience. Experience with rack and stack and IT hardware installation. Ability to read cabling diagrams and follow technical documentation. Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
