Position Overview

This role will work directly with executive leadership to turn media exposure, industry insights, and company initiatives into engaging content, targeted campaigns, qualified leads, and business opportunities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on marketing generalist with strong writing skills, creative judgment, and the ability to manage campaigns from concept through performance analysis.

The position also includes occasional employee technology onboarding and basic account-access support.

Digital Marketing & Campaigns

• Develop and execute campaigns that increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and support business development.
• Translate media coverage, executive interviews, industry news, and logistics trends into timely marketing initiatives.
• Manage campaigns across LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, email, and other relevant channels.
• Maintain a marketing calendar and align messaging, audiences, and priorities with leadership.
• Coordinate with external marketing and advertising partners as needed.

Social Media & Content Creation

• Manage company social media accounts, with an emphasis on reaching B2B logistics audiences.
• Create compelling posts, articles, graphics, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
• Repurpose approved television interviews, podcasts, and other media into short-form videos and social content, consistent with applicable usage rights.
• Edit videos with captions, branding, headlines, and platform-specific formatting.
• Monitor industry conversations and maintain a consistent, professional brand voice.

Brand Communications & Public Relations

• Support executive thought leadership on logistics challenges, fraud prevention, and industry transparency.
• Assist with press releases, company announcements, and external communications.
• Identify relevant media, speaking, publication, and industry partnership opportunities.
• Maintain an organized collection of approved interviews, clips, graphics, and marketing assets.

Analytics & Lead Generation

• Track website traffic, audience growth, social engagement, campaign performance, and qualified inquiries.
• Use Google Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, and similar tools to evaluate results and identify improvements.
• Prepare clear KPI dashboards and regular performance reports for leadership.
• Establish processes to capture, organize, and route leads for timely follow-up.

Website & Digital Presence

• Update website content, company announcements, media coverage, and marketing materials.
• Recommend improvements to website messaging, calls to action, SEO, and online visibility.
• Coordinate more advanced website changes with external providers.

Employee Technology Support

• Assist with basic technology onboarding, including phone setup and email or application access.
• Coordinate account requests, password resets, and access changes using established procedures.
• Maintain onboarding and offboarding checklists and escalate complex issues to IT providers.

Required Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, content creation, communications, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success executing digital campaigns and managing professional social media accounts, particularly LinkedIn.
• Experience editing short-form video using Canva, Adobe tools, CapCut, or similar software.
• Familiarity with website and social media analytics, campaign measurement, and performance reporting.
• Strong writing, editing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and turn ideas into finished content.
• Basic technical aptitude and willingness to assist with straightforward employee technology needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• B2B marketing experience within logistics, transportation, freight, or supply chain.
• Experience supporting executive thought leadership, media relations, or public relations.
• Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp, or comparable CRM and marketing platforms.
• Knowledge of SEO, paid advertising, email marketing, and lead generation.
• Experience with website content management systems and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Experience using AI-assisted marketing and content creation tools.
