TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience with Epic charting system Description: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical surgical setting. First-time travelers will not be accepted for this position. The patient population includes adults to geriatrics. The unit has 42 beds, primarily serving post-surgical patients. Types of patients will include orthopedic, urology, colorectal, bariatric, neurology, and general surgery patients. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6, ensuring adequate attention to each patient. The unit utilizes Epic for charting, and familiarity with this system is required. Candidates should have experience in isolation precautions and PPE, as well as oxygen administration and peripheral line care. Travel experience is required for this role. You will be expected to work every other weekend unless otherwise specified. Holidays will be scheduled as needed, with expectations to work during major holidays. Comprehensive compliance is required to start on time. If compliance is not met, a two-week push back will occur due to orientation schedules. Flexibility is required for floating within the facility as needed.
