Mechanical Engineer

Job Type: Contract/Contract to Hire (6 Months) Pay Range: 50-85 Per Hour Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and more Overview Designing spacecraft structures and mechanisms for launch and on-orbit operation Supporting end-to-end development from concept through testing and delivery Working on deployment systems, precision assemblies, and structural components Integrating avionics, propulsion systems, and hardware within tight constraints Creating and managing CAD models (NX or SolidWorks) and detailed drawings Participating in design reviews and cross-functional collaboration Qualifications 3+ years of mechanical design experience (spacecraft or satellite preferred) Strong background in structures, mechanisms, and launch environments Experience with CAD tools such as NX or SolidWorks Solid understanding of GD&T and configuration management Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Military connected talent encouraged to apply.
