Position Overview
We are looking for a CNC Automatic Band Saw Operator to set up, program, and operate our HYDMECH and HAAS CNC sawing equipment. You will cut raw metal materials to exact blueprint specifications to keep our production pipeline moving efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Operation & Setup: Set up and operate HYDMECH automatic band saws and HAAS CNC sawing equipment.
Programming: Input cutting dimensions, material feeds, and speeds into CNC controls.
Material Handling: Load and unload heavy steel, aluminum, and alloy materials using forklifts or overhead cranes.
Quality Control: Inspect finished cuts using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to ensure tolerance standards are met.
Maintenance: Perform daily equipment maintenance, including blade changes, fluid checks, and chip clearing.
Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years operating industrial automatic band saws (HYDMECH and HAAS experience highly preferred).
Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
