Plumbing Service Technician

Rolland Reash Plumbing, Jacksonville, FL, US About the Role Plumbing Service Technician Full Time Technician. We are seeking an experienced service plumber with knowledge of diagnosing, installing, and providing repairs for plumbing related issues in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Diagnose plumbing issues independently and make repairs efficiently Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality and code compliance Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems Cut, assemble and install lines with attention to existing infrastructure (i.e. electrical wiring) Install, maintain and repair water supply systems Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (i.e. leaks) Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, etc. Repair domestic fixtures and appliances (i.e. faucets, water heaters) Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning systems Handle customer queries and respond to dispatches Prepare quotes and present to customers directly Prepare quotes and present to customers directly Qualifications 3+ years of plumbing experience Understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (i.e. pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, etc.) Required to have your own hand tools Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong critical thinking and diagnostic skills Friendly with a great deal of patience Must be able to work with a team Valid driver’s license Clean record from the Department of Motor Vehicles Required Skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong critical thinking and diagnostic skills Friendly with a great deal of patience Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (i.e. pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, etc.) Required to have your own hand tools Preferred Skills Experience working in residential, commercial and industrial buildings Pay range and compensation package Salary Range: $26.00 To $30.00 Hourly Physical Requirements Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces Ability to lift 80lbs plus. 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Equal Opportunity Statement Rolland Reash Plumbing is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Rolland Reash Plumbing
