Full-Time ParalegalLocation: Oyster Bay, NY Schedule: 9-5pm Monday- Friday Contract to HirePosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Full-Time Paralegal to support our clients practice in real estate and zoning matters. This role involves assisting with lease drafting, document preparation, and administrative support, including the use of a typewriter for preparing and formatting legal documents. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and format residential and commercial lease agreementsAssist with real estate transactions, including document preparation and file managementSupport zoning and land use matters, including preparing applications and organizing supporting materialsConduct basic legal and municipal research related to zoning regulations and property recordsPrepare and format legal documents using both computer-based systems and a typewriterMaintain and organize client files (digital and physical)Prepare correspondence, legal documents, and reports with high accuracyProvide general administrative and clerical support as neededQualificationsPrior experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, preferably in real estate or land use/zoningFamiliarity with lease agreements and real estate documentationExperience using a typewriter or willingness to learn and use one regularlyStrong typing and document formatting skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word and basic office softwareExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independentlyStrong written and verbal communication skills Nexus Staff Inc.
