Job Summary:

We are currently seeking Structural Fitters and Welders to join our team. This position involves working with structural steel components including beams, channels, and angles. Candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced fabrication environment and capable of producing quality work that meets industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Fit and weld structural steel components including beams, channels, and angles
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
• Perform accurate measurements and layout work
• Execute welds according to specifications and quality standards
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

• Previous welding and/or structural fitting experience preferred
• Ability to pass a weld test (flat and uphill weld on plate)
• Ability to pass a fitting test (coping an H-beam into another beam)
• Basic knowledge of fabrication tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Typical schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday

Pay:

• Starting at $22/hour for entry-level welders
• Pay increases based on experience and skill level
