Job Title: Welder and Fitter Job Description

As a Structural Welder, you will be responsible for building large cell towers up to 400 feet high. This role involves welding, fitting, and using MIG and flux core techniques to ensure the structural integrity of the towers. You will be tasked with fitting and completing final welds or multi-pass welds, as well as laying out and marking weld points on structural steel.

Responsibilities

• Build large cell towers up to 400 feet high.

• Perform welding and fitting tasks using MIG and flux core techniques.

• Fit and complete final welds and/or multi-pass welds.

• Layout and mark weld points on structural steel.

• Follow all safety rules and practices.

• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, schematics, or work orders.

Essential Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in welding and fitting.

• Experience with MIG and flux core welding techniques.

• Ability to read blueprints, layouts, schematics, or work orders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2 years of welding experience preferred.

• Experience in flux core and metal core welding.

Work Environment

This role operates in a non-climate controlled environment on the 1st shift from 4:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, with overtime available on Fridays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Muskogee, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $22.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
