You will work with internal and external application teams and customers to understand their unique requirements, translate that into an execution plan, and deliver the value. You will also play a critical role in defining facing go-to-market strategy. You will accomplish this with your technical understanding of analytics systems, ability to ruthlessly prioritize work items, and ability to communicate effectively with external and internal customers. You will merge attention to technical detail with the ability to understand and align to business imperatives while working hand-in-glove with cross-functional execution teams to drive customer insights and inputs directly into the development process.You’ll thrive in this role if you are curious about solving complex technical problems and have strong empathy for customers. Your work will impact key Splunk growth initiatives and will be a key value driver for our top customers that use Splunk for security and observability.Own federated search for security use cases and expanding our portfolio of supported data storesEngage with customers (internal and external) and field teams to understand product gaps and translate them into clear priorities and roadmapDevelop product requirements, user stories, wireframes, and acceptance criteria for proposed improvementsWork with developers and architects to brainstorm solutions and define clear success criterionEstablish relationships with customers and internal and external collaborators to collect key user and customer needs and validate potential solutionsCollaborate with customers, engineering, UX, PMs, operations, marketing, and field on a regular cadence to drive go-to-market strategyMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree with 11+ years of experience6+ years of experience as Enterprise Software Product ManagerExperience delivering enterprise software or data-platform capability from ground-up - customer discovery, requirements definition, launch and adoption.Experience with large scale analytics systems such as Snowflake, Databricks or BigQuery etc.Experience in defining multi-year product vision and roadmaps for cloud and enterprise software preferably in a platform environment.Preferred QualificationsUnderstanding of key players in security and observability market that compete with SplunkExperience with agentic AI, Model Context Protocol, enterprise RAG systems, embedding pipelines, or federated data architectures.Experience working with analytics tools, databases and cloud servicesExperience driving alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.Why Cisco?
