Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience from initial inquiry through project completion. This position partners closely with customers, outside sales, engineering, purchasing, and production teams to generate custom solutions, prepare proposals, and process orders efficiently. This is a relationship-driven role focused on responsiveness, accuracy, and teamworkno cold calling required.

Key responsibilities include:

• Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally via phone and email
• Support existing customers and assist prospective customers with product information and solutions
• Collaborate with outside sales representatives, CAD engineers, purchasing, and production teams
• Prepare and generate accurate custom product quotes and proposals
• Process and manage custom product orders from entry through completion
• Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the sales and production process
• Provide outstanding customer service before, during, and after the sale
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all documentation and communications

Qualifications and skills we're looking for include:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional, friendly, and solution-oriented customer approach
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Willingness to learn technical products and custom solutions

Education and experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education a plus
• Prior experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related role preferred but not required
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments is a plus but not mandatory

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
