Shipping Coordinator

Schedule: Mon- Fri: 7:00 AM -3:30 PM

Pay: $22/HR.

Location: Redlands, CA

Type of role: Temporary

We are seeking a Shipping Coordinator . This is an office-based position responsible for coordinating shipments, processing orders, preparing invoices and Bills of Lading, and communicating with customers and carriers. Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Schedule inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and drivers.

• Prepare and process shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), invoices, and other required paperwork.

• Enter customer orders accurately into the system to generate invoices and shipping documentation.

• Email invoices, shipping confirmations, and related documentation to customers.

• Coordinate with customers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.

• Track shipments and communicate updates regarding delivery status or delays.

• Verify shipping information for accuracy and resolve discrepancies as they arise.

• Maintain organized shipping records and documentation in accordance with company procedures.

• Provide administrative support for shipping and receiving operations while ensuring excellent customer service.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, transportation, or order processing role preferred.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel, with the ability to learn ERP or shipping software.

• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, carriers, and internal departments.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment while meeting deadlines.

• Experience creating Bills of Lading, invoices, and shipping documentation is highly preferred.

• Professional customer service skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
