Medical Lab Tech PRN

Job Summary Performs routine and stat clinical pathology testing appropriate to the laboratory discipline and reports results in a timely manner with occasional guidance. Responsible for the accurate performance of laboratory tests and other duties in a manner that complies with all approved protocols. Key Responsibilities Provides patient-focused care in a clinical setting through the accurate performance of routine tests through the pre-analytic, analytic and post-analytic stages. Demonstrates critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities. Actively participates in compliance and quality management activities. Consistently promotes teamwork and utilizes constructive communication and collaboration skills. Technical Capabilities Quality Assurance (Fundamental Awareness): understands the goal of increasing organizational productivity and individual performance by making the products and services within your work assignments more efficient and more effective. Equipment Maintenance (Novice): possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate the ability to maintain equipment, products, or systems in practical applications of moderate difficulty, and assures that parts inventory is sufficient. Diagnostic Testing (Novice): demonstrates proficiency of diagnostic testing in practical applications, possessing sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to deliver results.
