Senior Customs Brokerage Representative
Virtual Vocations Inc
Working remotely full-time, the Senior Customs Brokerage Representative will utilize import/export regulations to classify products, manage product databases, and serve as a liaison with government entities regarding customs declarations and shipping restrictions. Key responsibilities Substantiates classification decisions using various regulatory resources Engages in Country of Origin verification projects and communicates with suppliers Manages and organizes product classification information in Excel and Access Required qualifications Strong knowledge of US Customs and Border Protection Regulations Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) preferred Experience in International Trade, Logistics, or Freight Forwarding preferred Previous experience with classification and/or FTA determination preferred Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S
