Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while enabling you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. The role includes regular virtual meetings with clients, ensuring continual support and follow-up on their treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to identify clients’ mental health needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique situation.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, providing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems to track client progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Serve as a reliable support system through regular check-ins, crisis interventions, and providing appropriate referrals.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a wide range of clients, including those experiencing substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. The ability to work with a diverse patient demographic—varying in age, background, and cultural context—is crucial. Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license as an LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW in the state of New York.
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities and a firm grasp of mental health disorders.
• Proven ability to deliver patient-centered therapy that reflects cultural sensitivity and responsiveness.
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills with a calm demeanor in high-stress situations.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to foster therapeutic alliances with clients.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and other computer applications relevant to clinical practice.
• Strong commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical treatment guidelines.

Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering both individual and group therapy in virtual settings.
• Background in community mental health services or outpatient counseling.
• Specialized training or certifications in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT).

Compensation and Benefits
