Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing you to deliver therapeutic services from the comfort of your home while maintaining a manageable work-life balance. Although you will have the flexibility to work from home, this position involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists and specialists to offer integrated care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed evaluations to assess patients' histories and identify appropriate therapeutic strategies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and resilience, incorporating evidence-based practices such as EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at assisting clients in processing their trauma, building coping mechanisms, and fostering recovery.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to provide holistic and integrated treatment options, ensuring comprehensive care for each client.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support in trauma-related emergencies, offering professional guidance during critical moments.
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, enhancing their understanding and ability to manage symptoms.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care best practices.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy methodologies to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma and related disorders. This role necessitates compassionate engagement with clients dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and associated dissociative disorders. Your effective support can significantly influence their recovery journey and contribute to improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.
• A current and valid state license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed therapy techniques.
• Strong communication skills and the capacity to demonstrate empathy and non-judgmental support to clients.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and the ability to utilize relevant technology effectively.
• An ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team setting, contributing to collaborative treatment efforts.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in trauma-specific therapy and interventions.
• Experience employing trauma-focused therapy techniques and a proven ability to work with diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
