On-call requirement of 1 shift per week and every 4th weekend. Some Saturdays included as part of regular scheduled shifts. Highlights: 13 or 26-week assignment at a prestigious Magnet-designated Level II Trauma facility recognized as the best hospital in Alaska Comprehensive cardiac and vascular caseload including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, STEMI, structural heart procedures (TAVR, Mitral Clip, PFO), and advanced hemodynamic support (IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart) Cross-trained opportunities in Electrophysiology (EP) and Interventional Radiology including neurointervention, stroke thrombectomy, embolizations, and vascular interventions State-of-the-art 407-bed acute care facility utilizing Epic charting system with exposure to CRM device implants Work alongside an experienced team with opportunity to utilize advanced equipment including various atherectomy and thrombectomy devices Free parking and scrubs provided; one time-off request permitted per 13-week assignment Requirements: Current BLS, ACLS, and either ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required Mandatory experience in Electrophysiology (EP), Interventional Radiology (IR), Vascular procedures, Patient Monitoring, and Neuro procedures Willingness to float within scope to IR and EP departments as needed Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted) Epic charting experience required Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted) Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years Availability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CTO, peripherals, venous access, and rhythm interpretation Familiarity with Philips X-Ray System, temporary LVAD support devices Knowledge of McKesson for Cath Lab and MacLab/Cardio Lab for EP Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers an exceptional opportunity to advance your cardiovascular and interventional skills in Alaska's premier healthcare facility.
