On-call requirement of one shift per week and every fourth weekend. Some Saturdays are included as part of regular scheduled shifts. Highlights: 13 or 26-week assignment at a prestigious Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma facility recognized as the best hospital in Alaska Comprehensive procedural experience including diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath, STEMI, structural heart procedures (TAVR, PFO, Mitral Clip), and advanced mechanical support (IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart) Cross-training opportunities with float capability to Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, and Neurointervention Epic charting system in a 407-bed acute care hospital setting Diverse case mix including CRM device implants, stroke thrombectomy, and various vascular and neuro interventions Free parking and scrubs provided Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required Active ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Required experience: Electrophysiology (EP), Interventional Radiology (IR), Vascular procedures, Monitoring, and Neuro interventions Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted) Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers and declinations not accepted) Epic charting experience preferred Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) Two professional references covering one year within the last three years Preferred Skills: CTO experience Peripheral vascular procedures Venous access Rhythm interpretation Philips X-Ray System experience Familiarity with various atherectomy and thrombectomy devices Temporary LVAD support experience McKesson for Cath Lab and MacLab/Cardio Lab for EP Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work in Alaska's premier healthcare facility, providing advanced cardiovascular and interventional services to diverse patient populations.
