Job Opportunity: Mammographer

Our organization is currently looking for both full-time and part-time Mammographers to join the Department of Radiology at our affiliated facility. We are in search of a dynamic, enthusiastic, and skilled individual to enhance our team.

• Assist in the coverage of Mammography and Women's Imaging services.

The Mammography and Women's Imaging Department at our facility conducts around 11,000 mammogram studies annually and performs approximately 1,100 biopsies each year. Our Radiology Department is equipped with advanced technology, including:

• Two state-of-the-art 3-D Hologic Dimension machines
• One Hologic stereotactic machine
• Two 128-slice CT scanners
• A PET/CT scanner
• A 1.5 Tesla MRI
• Ultrasound and Diagnostic X-ray/Fluoroscopy suites
• Nuclear medicine facilities

The successful candidate will collaborate with two full-time Mammographers to deliver high-quality services. The Women's Imaging Department is supported by a dedicated team, including:

• Two Nurses
• Three Technologists
• One Breast Imaging Supervisor

Our acute care facility is part of the largest municipal healthcare system in the nation, catering to one of the most culturally diverse populations globally and addressing a wide range of medical needs. Our hospital is recognized as a Comprehensive Cancer Center.

• Candidates must be Board certified or eligible in Radiology.
• A valid license to practice in the State of New York is required.
• Faculty appointments will be based on experience and achievements.

We offer a competitive salary structure, which is aligned with qualifications and experience:

• Board Eligible: $456,000
• Board Certified: $481,000
• Board Certified with ACGME Fellowship: $506,000
