DOT COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR POSITION TYPE:

Sacramento, CA WAGE SCALE: $26.00-$29.00 BENEFITS & PERKS: Medical, Dental, Vision & Retirement plans Paid time off - Vacation, Sick & Holidays Monday - Friday Schedule Room for growth RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

: Monitoring driver qualification and processing driving records. Monitoring driver development (training, driver fitness, etc.) Oversight of GPS & dash camera systems to maximize safety (ex: GPS reports, driver safety scores, etc.) Monitor FMCSA performance and address specific violations with affected branches. Assist branches with programs to perform periodic vehicle inspections and required smoke testing. Assist in monitoring all aspects of DOT compliance (logbooks, hours of service, etc.) Maintain vehicle and equipment information in CARB databases (DOORS, TRUCRS, CTC) Stay up to date on regulatory changes and support improvement projects (ex: electrification, dash cams, etc.) Assist with contractor’s equipment projects (permitting, inspections, GPS tracking, etc.) Track and monitor permits and registrations (DOT certification statements, hazardous materials registrations, MCP #, etc.) Understand and oversee trip permits, IRP, IFTA, dual state registration, etc. Responsible for periodic reporting on fleet safety and compliance items. All other duties and responsibilities assigned. QUALIFICATIONS

: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fleet support role Working knowledge of DOT and CARB regulations Time management and organizational skills Computer proficiency Excellent reading, comprehension, and communication skills COMPANY
