Patient Access Representative

Primary Location Loveland Primary Care Department CCHMC Loveland Primary Care Shift Day (United States of America) Schedule Full time Weekly Hours 40 FTE 1 Employee Status Regular The Patient Representative II / Patient Access Representative serves as a key front-line team member supporting patients, families, providers, and staff. This role is responsible for patient registration, scheduling, admissions support, customer service, and revenue cycle-related activities while maintaining patient confidentiality and ensuring a positive patient experience. Candidates who are dependable, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills will be successful in this role. Primary Responsibilities * Register and schedule patients accurately and efficiently. * Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, providers, and coworkers. * Support patient admissions and front-end revenue cycle functions. * Verify and maintain accurate demographic and insurance information. * Follow organizational policies related to compliance, patient safety, and confidentiality. * Collaborate with team members and clinical staff to ensure a positive patient experience. * Maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Minimum Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent. * No directly related experience * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to learn new systems and processes. * Demonstrated customer service experience and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications * Previous patient access, registration, scheduling, healthcare administration, or medical office experience. * Experience working directly with patients, families, customers, or clients in a service-focused environment. * Strong computer and data-entry skills.
