Instrumentation & Electrical Technician

Digital Technology & Research, Engineering & Design, Manufacturing SLB is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations in Mobile, AL. We are looking for a professional who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and demonstrates strong problem‑solving and collaboration skills. Roles and Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, drives, and control circuits Maintain and program PLC systems (Allen Bradley and Siemens platforms) Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to improve equipment uptime and reliability Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and control diagrams Diagnose issues involving analog and digital signals, strain gauges, and electrical components Ensure compliance with safety standards and National Electric Code requirements Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to optimize equipment performance Utilize CMMS systems to document work orders and maintenance activities Qualifications and Experience High School Diploma or GED required 2–7 years of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing environment Experience troubleshooting electrical control systems, analog/digital signals, and instrumentation Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with CMMS systems is an asset Willingness to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) Knowledge of AC/DC motors, drives, and controllers (ABB, Siemens, Demag) Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US without sponsorship Benefits Health, vision, and dental insurance for you and your dependents available from day one.
