## Treasury Analyst IIApply: Hybrid: Rochester, NY: Full time: Posted Today: JR103290**Position Highlights**Executes and monitors daily treasury activities, ensuring accurate deposit processing and allocation to RIT departments. **Controller's Office**The *Controller’s Office (CTO)* is comprised of accounting and financial professionals who work together to provide accurate, timely, and actionable information and services to our customers while acting as good stewards of the university's financial resources.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities*** Executes daily treasury operations, including the management of cash positions and ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs. Monitors daily transactions to confirm accurate processing and allocation* Performs regular reconciliations of bank accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain integrity in financial records and compliance with accounting standards* Supports liquidity planning by monitoring and analyzing cash inflows and outflows. Utilizes this data to forecast short-term and long-term financial needs and to refine treasury management strategies* Works closely with internal teams, such as accounting and finance departments, to streamline processes and enhance the reliability and efficiency of treasury operations* Prepares and analyzes complex financial statements, including cash flow statements, balance sheets, and income statements, providing insights that inform financial decisions and strategic planning* Assists with external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial transactions. Maintains and improves internal controls to ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards* Other duties as assigned **Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities*** Knowledge of accounting, finance, and budgeting practices and protocols to ensure accurate financial management and compliance* Knowledge of treasury and financial risk management, cash flow and liquidity management, and investment management* Knowledge of enterprise-wide financial applications and Microsoft Office* Skill in synthesizing and analyzing financial data and preparing detailed reports to support decision-making and budgeting activities* Skill in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and customer service* Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise professional judgment regarding financial decisions **Minimum Education & Experience*** Bachelor's degree in related field* 4 years of relevant experience* Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered **Job Level Overview**Specialized Contributor Level 2 - A fully functional role requiring established knowledge of the profession or field of work. Responsible for completing substantive assignments and projects. Problems are varied and non-routine, and resolution requires exercising judgment, analysis, advisement, creativity, and understanding broader sets of issues.
