Project Manager II

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager II for a top utility infrastructure client. This candidate will lead large-scale electrical utility projects involving transmission, distribution, substations, generation assets, and related infrastructure programs. The Project Manager II will provide strategic leadership across engineering, procurement, construction, and operational teams while ensuring successful project delivery. The ideal candidate is a seasoned project leader with a proven track record managing complex utility initiatives, influencing stakeholders at all levels, and driving project execution in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Requirements

• 10-15 years of project management experience

• Utility industry experience strongly preferred

• Experience supporting transmission, distribution, generation, substation, or related electrical infrastructure projects

• Proven success managing large-scale engineering or construction projects

• Extensive experience managing project schedules, budgets, and stakeholders

Strong leadership and executive communication skills • Experience leading utility capital programs

• Expertise in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project management

• Experience reporting project performance to senior leadership

• Strong risk management and mitigation experience

Electrical utility operations knowledge
