I'm recruiting for a Large and growing firm in Charlotte that is growing its Labor & Employment practice. They're open to hiring at two levels: a senior associate or counsel who is ready for a bigger stage, or a partner who wants a platform that helps a book grow rather than just housing it. That's why the salary range is so wide. Where you land depends on your experience and, at partner level, your business.

The work

• Defending employers in state and federal court, in arbitration, and before the EEOC and NC Department of Labor
• Discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, leave and restrictive covenant matters
• Day to day counseling for HR leaders and general counsel
• Drafting handbooks, policies and executive agreements
• For partners, leading client relationships and building the team around them

What they're looking for

• JD and North Carolina bar admission, or the ability to obtain it quickly
• Five or more years of Labor & Employment experience, ideally on the management side
• For partner level, a portable book of business ([amount] placeholder)
• Sharp writing, sound judgment, and the kind of steady presence clients trust when things get tense
