Care Support Specialist - Home Care - Full Time

Fully Remote - Required to live in the Chevy Chase MD, Howard County MD or DC area Capital City Nurses | After-Hours Care Coordination The schedule for this position is unique, requires a few morning hours (starting at 6am) and then evening hours (5pm-10pm) a couple days a week. What You'll Do Be the Go-To Problem Solver Answer and manage incoming calls from clients, families, and caregivers Provide timely, professional, and compassionate support Serve as the communication bridge between field teams and office staff Own Scheduling & Coverage Manage after-hours and weekend scheduling needs Ensure all client shifts are fully staffed and covered Handle last-minute call-outs with urgency and accuracy Respond When It Matters Most Quickly assess and resolve urgent care needs Escalate issues appropriately and communicate updates Keep operations running smoothly during off-hours Deliver an Exceptional Experience Create a positive experience for clients and caregivers every interaction Ensure concerns are handled with urgency and professionalism Represent Capital City Nurses' commitment to compassion, reliability, and service excellence What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of work experience (staffing, scheduling, or customer service preferred) Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure Highly organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable working evenings, overnight shifts, and weekends Ability to work in-office or remotely depending on schedule What Makes You a Great Fit You thrive in fast-moving environments You love helping people and solving problems You're dependable-others count on you and trust you You communicate clearly, confidently, and with empathy Why Join Capital City Nurses?
