Exciting Opportunity for Travel RN - Labor & Delivery (L&D) in Dallas Job Description: - Position Title: Travel RN - L&D - Location: Dallas, TX - Unit: Labor and Delivery - Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM - Assignment Length: 13 weeks - Patient Care Ratios: - Cervical ripening: 2:1 - Triage: 3:1 - Stable PP magnesium: 2:1 - Unstable magnesium or laboring magnesium: 1:1 - Pitocin or active labor: 1:1 - Early labor: 2:1 - Unit Highlights: - High-risk obstetrical unit specializing in labor and delivery. - 24 beds ensuring personalized and focused patient care. - Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-risk labor and delivery care. - Proficient in high-risk obstetrical bedside training. - Experience circulating in C-sections and recovering high-acuity patients. - Preferred Skills: - Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certificate. - Patient Experience: - Direct involvement in vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&Cs, and post-delivery recovery care. - Dress Code: - Scrub color: [Specify if needed]. - Nail Policy: Clean and healthy; no artificial nails or gel. - Hair: Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors. Must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer. - Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible. - Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited. - Unit Guidelines: - Ability to float to the antepartum unit within Women’s Health. - Adherence to company-wide attendance policies.
