About the job Senior Product Manager
SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER - AI & EDTECH
- Own a product domain from strategy through execution and iteration
- Translate ambiguous customer and business problems into clear roadmaps
- Partner with engineering, design, and GTM to prioritize and ship
- Drive multi-surface initiatives spanning AI/ML, workflows, UX, and backend
- Make sharp trade-offs with a strong bias toward shipping
- Work directly with customers and feed feedback into product decisions
- Lead zero-to-one initiatives and build structure where none exists
- Balance customer needs, technical constraints, and business priorities
- Move fast in a fast-shifting environment
- Help build AI-native experiences that improve educational outcomes
- 5-8 years in product management, ideally in AI/ML, SaaS, or complex tech
- Experience at an AI startup or AI-focused tech company
- Strong product intuition and independent decision-making
- Technical fluency; CS, Engineering, or related background a plus
- Track record working closely with engineering and design
- Strong communication skills, including with external stakeholders
- Experience shipping products from concept through launch and iteration
- Comfortable with high ownership in a fast-paced startup
- Scrappy, decisive, low-ego, execution-oriented
- Mandarin proficiency required (San Francisco role only, for collaboration with the Shanghai team)
- High ownership - own product areas, not just features
- AI-native - build directly on AI/ML and LLM technology
- Visible impact - small team, direct line from your work to outcomes
- Zero-to-one - most of the product is net new
- Strong technical collaboration - work alongside AI/ML, frontend, backend, data, and automation engineers
- Mission-driven - improve and personalize learning at scale
- Access to leadership - regular exposure to founders and senior leaders
