Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,349-$2,482 per week - Start date: 08/03/2026 - Contract duration: 8 weeks - Shift: Days, 5x8, 40 hours per week - Location/work setting: hospital operating room services - Guaranteed hours: none Responsibilities - Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patientor assigned group in the operating room, following established standards of care and the nursing process. - Supervise and direct activities of various levels of licensed and unlicensed nursing staff within the OR team. - Coordinate care with surgical team and other disciplines while applying critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent discretion. - Provide intraoperative patient care as part of operating room services; may involve perfusion services or other OR support functions, and it does not include PACU, anesthesia functions, pre-op holding, or central sterile functions. - Maintain patient safety and sterile technique throughout procedures; document care and patient status, and communicate updates to the team. - Support efficient workflow, assist with room turnover, and escalate issues to the perioperative leadership as needed. Requirements - Current California Registered Nurse license (or eligibility) to practice in the operating room environment. - Ability to work in a true operating room setting and participate in intraoperative patient care. - Availability for a travel assignment of 8 weeks with day shift coverage. - Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff. - Commitment to patient safety, standards of care, and perioperative protocols. - Adaptability to a fast-paced surgical environment and capacity to handle varying case types.
